Rihanna and Katy Perry, new BFF’s!

I always seem to hear about one celebrity buddying up with another celebrity and then the next week they are worst enemies due to the fact one has slept with the other one’s boyfriend, and to be honest, I don’t care!

The latest couple to start a brand new friendship is Rihanna and Katy Perry. Apparently the couple have been inseparable of recent . They have no doubt been discussing men problems due to the recent attack on Rihanna and Katy’s split from Travis.

Katy got in touch with Rihanna after all the Chris Brown problems and has apparently been taking her on girlie nights outs to help cheer her up. Hmm, is Katy really the right person to be helping Rihanna through her problems, I’m not so sure about that. Katy seems abit mischievous and could influence Rihanna to do things she wouldn’t normally do!

A source close to the pair has said:

“Katy was there when Rihanna needed her the most and as terrible as the stuff with Chris is, at least one good thing has come of it. Both of them have had man troubles recently so they are enjoying having some girlie time.”

The pair are hoping to jet away to Puerto Rico if they can find time in their busy schedules to let their hair down and get away from it all.

Katy Perry splits from lover!

Katy Perry and Travis McCoy  have split up over the festive season.

The pop sensation, who likes to kiss girls who wear cherry chap stick hasn’t had it too easy from her ex though!

Travis hasn’t wasted anytime in showing how he feels about Katy and has laid into her on his blog…

“We fight every night, now that’s not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer, and wake up to be greeted by an argument again, you act like you’re ten. So immature, I try to concentrate on a cure. And keep lookin’ at the front door. My friends always tell me how I’m lucky to possess, The best looking girl in the whole US. But every time you scream, you blow your finesse… Sometimes I wish you’d come down with lockjaw, So I don’t have to take in the breakin’, You treat me like a burnt piece of bacon.”

Wowza!! He doesn’t seem a happy bunny does he. With Katy being quite feisty herself i can imagine that she will fight back!

They seemed such a cute little couple, can’t beleive they have split!!!! I’ll keep you updated on Katy’s reaction!

Lily Allen Vs Katy Perry

Loud mouthed Lily Allen has been opening her gob and speaking her mind about fellow celebrities. This time, she has chosen Katy Perry.

Lily seems to think that Katy is copying her style, but in my opinion, their style is totally different. When Lily first hit the scene she was wearing a pair of Nike Air Max and a prom dress, slightly different to Katy’s more eccentric style.

Lily has said:

‘I happen to know that she was an American version of me. She was signed by my label in America as, “We need to find something controversial and kooky like Lily Allen,” and then they found her. I think the lyrics and stuff are a bit crass.’

Lily is also abit peed off with Katy as apparently she has said that she is overweight.

‘When I met her I was bit frosty with her,’ she told Capital FM. ‘Because someone asked her to describe herself. She’s like, “Aha, I’m like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen!”
It’s like, you’re not English and you don’t write your own songs, shut up!’

I kissed a girl and i liked it!

By now you must of heard Katy Perry’s hit song “I Kissed A Girl”. It’s always blasting out of the radio and constantly on the music channels on the TV.

Katy, who is dating Gym Class Heroes front man Travis, has definitely made her mark in music.

I Kissed A Girl was at the top of the charts for more than 7 weeks, that’s amazing for someone so new to the scene, not only is she rocking America but also the UK too.

The song has been such a success that Mcfly have even given it a go. They performed it on Radio 1’s live lounge and it sounded fab!

Britney is back on track!

It seems that Britney Spears is well and truly getting her life back on track.

All was going on a downward spiral for Ms Spears not that long ago but it seems she is coming back and looks better than ever.

Britney has also been nominated for an MTV award for the Best Female Video category for her hit song “piece of me”.

After her shoddy ‘comeback’ performance last year, its great to see that she is up for an award this year.

It could be a tough one to win though as she is up against Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Jordin Sparks and Katy Perry.
