Kate Vs Kelly in the Fashion Battle

So, Kelly Osbourne has spoken out recently about her friendship with fellow celebrity Kate Moss. What an unlikely pairing! Apparently, Kelly doesn’t get any fashion advice off her pal - I think she should!!

‘I don’t ask her for fashion tips or anything. When we’re together we’re just friends.’

Kate Moss’s range at Top Shop is superb. I can’t resist a new purchase every time I’m in town and it’s such amazing value for money. In my opinion, Kelly could do a lot worse than get advice off one of the biggest fashion icons of our time.

Alexandra already has a new BFF!

It hasn’t taken Alexandra Burke long to fit into the celebrity lifestyle, she even has a brand new celebrity bezzie mate and it is no other than Kate Moss! Yes, bit of a weird one really isn’t it!

Apparently, Kate took her daughter Lila Grace to the live shows and they were routing for Alexandra all the way.

Alexandra has said:

“I saw Kate in the audience a couple of weeks ago and waved to her. I met her properly last week and we hit it off. I am going to her party on Friday. She promised me I could have anything I wanted from her wardrobe. I can’t wait. She won’t be leading me astray. She is a good person and we talked for ages.”

Actually, I’m quite jealous, ANYTHING from Kate’s wardrobe, that would be amazing although would probably only fit my little finger!

Although Alexandra has signed up to Simon Cowell’s record label ‘Syco’ she still wants Cheryl to play a part in her career. From what i saw on the live shows it appears that Alex and Cheryl got on well, but was it all an act?

After smashing the charts with her cover of Hallelujah, Alex has only just figured out what the song is about.

“I didn’t know it was about sexual positions. I see it as a love song!”

Who’s nicked my chocolate??

If someone broke into my car, i would not be happy!! I suppose leaving my i-pod and sat nav out on show im just asking for it, but touch wood, its never happened!

The most recent victim of car crime is Kate Moss. Theives have broken into her car and have nicked, wait for it……….£10 and some quality streets!!!!!!

Wait, i hear you cry, does Kate Moss actually eat chocolate?! well i never!

The model had left her range rover on her drive way and came back to  a broken window. Kate was extremely concerned as she couldn’t remember whether she had left a £200,000 diamond ring on the back seat. Erm, firstly why would you leave an expensive ring lying around in your car and secondly if i ever had a ring of that value i certainly wouldn’t forget where i had put it!!!!

” The police were called and have urged Kate to increase security at her home to make sure nothing like this happens again”.

I must admit i would be pretty peeved if someone had nicked my Quality Street, although i doubt i would have any left for them to nick!

Alexa or Kate? Who do Rimmel want?

Make up brand Rimmel are apparently in talks over who should be the face of the product.

Kate Moss has been the face of the brand since 2001 and it has been said that they are not looking to renew her contract when it expires later this year.

There are a couple of people already in the pipeline, with T4 presenter Alexa Chung being favourite.

‘Alexa is one of the hottest faces out there. Not only is she beautiful, she’s savvy, sexy and has loads of attitude.’

I definitely think that the brand need a fresh face and with Kate making the headlines for the wrong reasons lately i think its a great idea.

Kate is rumoured to be organising a date for her wedding in September with her boyfriend Jamie Hince.

Glastonbury Festival - Love The Farm, Leave No Trace

I was green with envy when i found all my friends were going to Glastonbury this year, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kate Moss, so decided i would take a sneaky look at the line up for the big event held at Pilton Farm in Somerset.

The festival which takes place from June 27th-29th already has some acts confirmed including The Verve, Kings of Leon and Jay Z.

Other than the festival being a major success each year, it has been hitting the headlines this week for a different reason.

This year, attendees will be offered biodegradable tent pegs to try and stop injuries to dairy cows from the thousands of metals pegs left in the ground after the event.

The pegs will be made from wheat and potatoes and are designed to disintegrate a few weeks after being used.

The new campaign this year is “Love The Farm, Leave No Trace”.

How jealous am i that im not attending! booooooo!

Hero of the year? Surely not!!

I could not actually believe what I was seeing when I read who NME readers had voted the “Hero Of The Year”.

He couldn’t be any less of a hero, yet PETE DOHERTY has been given the crown.

Ok, so, hero of the year eh? wait, I don’t recall him doing anything heroic to even enter into this category?? do you?

I just don’t get it, do people think its ‘cool’ to be like this repulsive being?? I don’t see how he can be an icon and how people can actually want to be like him?!!!

OK, maybe the Babyshambles have had ONE good song, but apart from that, this greasy, disgusting, waste of space drug addict shouldn’t be given awards for something he obviously isn’t.

Kate Moss must of been brave going anywhere near him, I think I would be physically sick!! (YUK!)

And to think he was also voted Sexiest Man in 2006, has the world of showbiz gone completely mad?!

…….MISS KYLIE MINOGUE!!!

WHAT?!! NOT KATE MOSS OR VICTORIA BECKHAM I HEAR YOU CRY!!?

Nope, in a recent survey it has been revealed that people in Britain are most influenced by Kylie when it comes to shopping for that new outfit. (Maybe for all you 5 footers and size zero’s out there!)

She topped the survey, just in front of the flamboyant Gwen Stefani.

When it comes to fashion, the likes of Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller normally come up top, but not this time.

I think that Posh deserves to be given the crown for the UK’s most stylish woman as she always tries SO hard, and, well, she’s from the UK!! - I think that she has been unfairly robbed of this title, and should definitely be next years winner!
