Jade: The Musical

Rumors have been going around for a while about the possibility of Jade Goody’s life being turned into a musical and now it seems that it is actually going to be happening.

But who will be taking on the part of Jade Goody I hear you cry? Well, it appears that the star of the show is going to be found by taking part in a TV talent show. The person who is behind the project is Danny Hayward who was best man at Jade’s wedding.

He already has ideas on the kind of person he would like to take on the role of Jade:

“Jade was just an ordinary girl and the person who plays her will reflect that. Her dream as a little girl was to be in a musical, so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this. If the show continues to raise awareness about cervical cancer, be a good night out and further her legacy, then it’s not really hurting anyone.”

Audition dates have not yet been announced but will be taking place across the country.

Is Jack Tweed on suicide watch?

Since the death of Jade Goody, Jack Tweed has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for assaulting a taxi driver and is certainly not dealing with it well.

According to sources close to Jack he has apparently been locked in a special secure hospital wing so that he is well away from other prisoners. Apparently Jack is at high risk because of his celebrity status and is going to spending his time with other high risk prisoners.

“There are genuine concerns that he could be targeted, it’s the sort of things that tough guys would brag to their mates. All the furniture in Jack’s cell will be moulded to the floor or the walls so it can’t be thrown around or broken to make a makeshift weapon.”

When Jack was last in prison, cell mates tried to force him to smoke crack and now friends are worried about his fragile state of mind.

Anyone want to buy Jade’s clothes?

Before Jade died she had planned out exactly what she wanted to happen with her belongings. She had told her husband Jack Tweed that she wanted everything bar a few treasured possessions to be auctioned off and all the money going to a good cause.

Jack has got straight onto his late wife’s wishes and has arranged for Jade’s clothes to be given away to a Cancer Research charity shop  or have them auctioned off to raise money for Marie Curie nurses.

A friend close to the family has said:

“She [Jade] told Jack to give it away or sell it – as long as the money went to a good cause. He is trying to look forward now. Clearing the house fills him with dread, but he knows it’s the first step towards closure.”

Jade’s Bermondsey home has been flooded with flowers and well-wishers are queueing up to sign her remembrance book.

Jack Tweed talks about Jade’s funeral

It was only the other day that Jack Tweed was told he may not be able to attend his wife’s funeral as he may be behind bars by that date, but today, things seem to be looking a little bit brighter. Jack has now been told that he will be able to attend Jade’s funeral as his court hearing date has been moved.

Jack has spoken out for the first time since Jade passed away on Sunday:

“I’d like to thank everyone for their kind support. I’ve had to do so much growing up these last few months – Jade and I went through so much together.”

Jack has also mentioned that he is going to try and but his bad boy days behind him and stay out of trouble to make Jade proud. Jack now needs to be there and act as a role model for Bobby and Freddy.

Jade’s family would like her funeral to be more of a celebration than a time of sadness. Jade is going to be buried in Epping Forest Burial Park in Essex, a place well known to her and her two gorgeous boys.

All Jade’s closest friends and family will be in attendance at her funeral to say their final farewells.

Jade Goody dies – 1981-2009

The day that Jade and her family were hoping would never come did today, Sunday 22nd March 2009. At 3.55am today, mothers day, Jade sadly passed away in her sleep. Jade was surrounded by the people that she loved the most, her husband Jack Tweed and Mother Jackiey. At 27 years old Jade got defeated by the terrible disease, cervical cancer.

Jackiey watched her daughters body being carried away into a hearse this morning whilst she looked on, still dressed in her pyjamas.

“I’ve lost my beautiful girl.”

Jade’s funeral hasn’t yet been arranged but is due to take place in the next 10 days.

“Jade wanted a celebration of her life. It will be very much a Jade Goody Production with Jade doing her own thing her own way.”

Jade’s life has certainly been one full of up’s and down’s, low’s and high’s and sadness and laughter. I’m sure that Jade will be remembered in many people’s hearts for a long, long time and i send all my thoughts and prayers out to her family.

Jade Goody has only hours left to live!

It is thought that Jade Goody only has hours left to live. Jade decided to celebrate mother’s day early this year in the fear that she wont make it another week. Jade could only manage a smile, but her little boys were by her bed side, holding her hand all day.

Jade’s mother Jackiey Budden has spoken out about her fears that Jade’s life could soon be coming to an end.

“It’s not day by day now. It’s more like hour by hour.”

Jade is trying to keep everything in the same routine for her children’s sake and has been making sure they attend school as normal.

Jade has been planning her funeral too, she would like her coffin to be driven through her home town, Bermondsy. Jade is aware that lots of people will want to attend her funeral, so has arranged for big screens to be erected outside the church.

My thoughts go out to Jade and her family at this terrible time.

Woman with hammer breaks into Jade Goody’s hospital room!

More news on the Jade Goody front for you. This weekend whilst lay in her hospital bed, Jade was greeted by an uninvited visitor.

A woman, who was in possession of a hammer broke into Jade’s hospital room yesterday and began chanting and praying by her bedside. The woman made the move when Jack had left Jades side to get a cup of tea.

A spokesman from the Police has said:

“We arrested a woman who was in a patient’s room and whose behaviour was flagged up by the hospital security. After questioning her, she was found to be in possession of an offensive weapon and was taken into custody at a London police station for further questioning.”

Jade was heavily sedated at the time so wasn’t totally sure of what happened. The security around Jade’s room has now been stepped up to ensure that nothing like this happens again.

Her family are all keen to get Jade home and incidents like this are more determined than ever to make sure that Jades spends her last weeks in the comfort of her own home.

Jade has asked for her friends not to visit her as her condition gets worse.

Jade Goody leaves hospital after operation

Jade Goody got admitted to hospital  after suffering from severe pain and has today been able to return home after an operation to relieve the pain. The operation was to remove a blockage in her bowel.

Jade has recently been admitted to St Clare’s Hospice in Essex so that her final days can be pleasant and nurses are at hand at all time of the day.

I do feel sorry for Jade, it must be awful to be told you only have weeks to live and the thought of her leaving her husband and kids behind must be devastating.

Jade, who can now only get around via a wheelchair is arranging for her sons to be christened next Saturday. It must be hard for her having always been so independent and now having to rely on being pushed around in a wheelchair.

Electric wheelchairs give more independence which is exactly what Jade needs, maybe someone could buy her one as a gift, it would probably cheer her up a little bit too. Gifts have been sent to her sons Bobby and Freddy including a AC Milan Football kit from David and Victoria Beckham. Victoria has also sent a message to Jade:

“David and I are moved by your fight against this cruel illness. We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time. We wanted to offer your lovely children a gift we hope they will like.”

Jack Tweed to get his tag removed

It seems that Jack Tweed could be getting his tag removed so that he can spend some time with his wife, Jade Goody.

Jack has already been able to remove his tag so that he could spend his wedding night with Jade and he is now pleading for it to be removed again. Jack just wants to spend the last few months he has with his wife. Up until today, Security Services have refused to make the exception and have told Jack that his tag will remain.

It seems now though, that Senior Ministry of Defence sources have revealed that Jack will in fact have his wishes granted and have his tag removed.

“When we have medical evidence this is imminent, the tag will be removed – but only for a very limited period.”

Jade Goody plans for the future

Since getting married on Sunday, Jade Goody has been preparing for the future and for her two little boys, Freddie and Bobby. Jade has even been busy preparing the words for her headstone and wants to be remembered as Jade Goody rather than Jade Tweed.

‘I am Mrs Tweed – although i still want everyone to remember me as Jade Goody, that’s who i am. I know it’s morbid, but I’ve told everyone that’s what I want on my headstone’

Jade has also been organising who will have full custody of the kids if she dies, this will be their father Jeff Brazier. Jade is very insistent that her mother Jackiey Budden and husband, Jack Tweed will still play a part in Bobby and Freddie’s lives.

‘If the day comes when I’m not here, Jeff will have full custody and my mum and Jack will have access as and when they want it.’

Alot of people have been saying that Jack has only married Jade for her money, but this isn’t the case. Even the money Jack has made him self from the wedding and interviews is going to Jade’s sons.

‘Everything I have – my house and my money – is going to my sons. And just in case you were wondering, Jack wont be getting any money out of me or from the wedding. He wants everything to go to the boys.’
