New presenter for Countdown

da da, da da, da da, da,da, daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! Yes people, the legend show that is countdown has found its new presenter, Alexander Armstrong. You know, that guy that does the dodgy dance on the Pimms advert! Alexander has taken the place of Des O’Connor after he quit the show a few months ago.

“Alex was delighted to be offered the job and can’t wait to get started. He is a big fan of the show and wants to make his mark on it. The hope is he’ll bring in a whole new audience to the much-loved show.”

But, the great news is, and get your CV’s at the ready, they are still looking for someone to fill Carol Vorderman’s shoes!! Who do you reckon it will be?
