I want that Celebrity look!

I’ve always wondered how Celebrities skin looks pristine even when they have been up at the crack of dawn and had their makeup re-applied about 3 times during the day?!

Take Katie Price for example, her skin is always pretty much flawless. She falls through the door at 4 in the morning after a drunken night out, and wakes up only a couple of hours later looking fabulous for a photo shoot! It’s just not fair! I’m guessing the amount of work and botox she has had gives her a slight advantage to us ‘normal’ girls though!

Sarah Harding is another celebrity who always looks stunning despite being a bit of a party girl. I know that they have make-up artists on hand to get rid of any unsightly blemishes and spots and no doubt have every photo airbrushed, but even when they get photographed in the streets they still look great. They could be pictured in a black bin bag and their skin would still look amazing.

I have tried using a number of creams but nothing seems to give me that ‘celebrity glow’. Friends of mine and a number of celebrities all swear by Jan Marini products. Jan Marini offers products such as eye creams, cleansing gel and hair shampoo and conditioner. I think I may need to invest in some so that I too can look like I’ve just stepped out of a salon.

Kate Moss quits modelling!!

Kate Moss has finally decided to give up what she is best know for, modelling! Kate, who is now 35 has decided to focus on something that could earn her millions and could see her fortunes doubling in no time.

Kate has teamed up with Simon Cowell and the guy who bought us Topshop, Sir Phillip Green and will take the role of Director of style and image for her new brand.

A friend close to Kate has said:

“Philip knows Kate has been looking for a way out of modelling for the past five years. She is bored silly with her own career and has vastly increased his Topshop sales and image.”

Insiders have also mentioned that Kate could soon be earning nearly £100 million a year from the deal. God, it just makes you sick doesn’t it?!!! Wish I could just decide to leave my career for something else that was going to make me rolling in money!! Hmmm, maybe I should dig my sewing machine out and send my garments to Topshop?!

Coronation Street moves to a Thursday night

I absolutely love my soaps, especially on a Monday when I can watch Coronation Street then Eastenders then Coronation Street again, I’m in my element.

The show has been broadcasted on a Wednesday night for the past 50 years but today, bossess at ITV has announced that Thursday is the new soap night. The good part is, we wont have the football disrupting out programmes anymore. The bad part is we will have to reset our Sky + and make sure we cancel all our plans for Thursday nights in the future!!

Corrie will not be showing at 8.30pm so wont clash with Eastenders.

Michael Jackson Memorial Concert

OMG!! Did you watch the Michael Jackson memorial concert last night? I couldn’t hold back the tears, especially when I saw his brothers crying and even more so when Paris made an emotional speech about her father.

The concert saw the likes of Mariah Carey, Usher, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie take to the stage to blast out timeless Jacko hits, with Britain’s very own Shaheen Jafargholi stealing the limelight with “Who’s Lovin You”.

All the Jackson clan were in attendance  including all 3 of Michael’s children, who up until then had not been put in the media spotlight.

Harry Potter star recovers from Swine Flu

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has just recovered from a case of Swine Flu. The actor who plays Potter’s best mate, Ron Wesley had a mild strain of the flu and has now been told that it is no longer contagious.

The latest Harry Potter film is having it’s premiere in London tomorrow night, Rupert must be relieved he is over the illness so he can attend the star studded bash.

Swine flu appears to be more serious than I first thought. You never think that something like that will hit the UK, but there have been numerous cases in Scotland and London and it seems that the bug is spreading! Yikes!

Michael Jackson’s Funeral Plans Confirmed

It has been reported today that the funeral of Michael Jackson is to take place at the Neverland Ranch, where the body will be on show for his fans to see for the very last time. Fans of Michael are due to line the streets in their thousands as the coffin makes its way from LA to Neverland.

A source close to the family has said:

“Michael always said Neverland kept him young. It seems fitting. The family want to give him a really special send off. They want to add a wow factor to the day and want Michael to look like a prince.”

There have even been rumours that Michael will be in a glass coffin which will be drawn by horses in a fairytale style carriage.
