Are Blue going to reunite?

Whilst Girls aloud are going on a temporary split it seems that the boy band Blue are looking to reunite in the Summer to appear at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball.

The foursome will be performing on stage with the likes of the Saturdays, Calvin Harris and Kelly Clarkson.

Duncan has said:

“Myself and the boys have talked about doing something together again for a while now. We met up last week and decided we will definitely be doing something together as a group this summer.”

I was never a huge fan of the band but seeing Duncan, Simon, Lee and Antony back together to belt out some old Blue classics should be good to see.

Were you a fan of their music and therefore over the moon to see them back together for this gig? Or were  you happy to see the back of them many years ago?

Girls Aloud confirm split!

This weekend, Girls Aloud announced that they are going to split on a temporary basis to pursue their solo work. Don’t worry though, they have reassured their fans that they are definitely NOT going to split up for good.

Sarah and Kimberley are going off to further their acting skills, Nadine and Cheryl are going to be busy working on some music so will be in and out of the recording studio and Nicola is going to be concentrating on her beauty range ‘Dainty Doll’. It seems that the girls have all got other things to be concentrating on other than Girls Aloud and just need some time away from the band to be able to take them forward.

Will you miss the music of Girls Aloud during the split or do you think that they will come back better than every when they reunite?!

Jade: The Musical

Rumors have been going around for a while about the possibility of Jade Goody’s life being turned into a musical and now it seems that it is actually going to be happening.

But who will be taking on the part of Jade Goody I hear you cry? Well, it appears that the star of the show is going to be found by taking part in a TV talent show. The person who is behind the project is Danny Hayward who was best man at Jade’s wedding.

He already has ideas on the kind of person he would like to take on the role of Jade:

“Jade was just an ordinary girl and the person who plays her will reflect that. Her dream as a little girl was to be in a musical, so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this. If the show continues to raise awareness about cervical cancer, be a good night out and further her legacy, then it’s not really hurting anyone.”

Audition dates have not yet been announced but will be taking place across the country.

Who is the worlds sexiest woman?

According to a poll in men’s magazine FHM, the Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has come up top and taken the crown as the worlds sexiest woman.

Cheryl has beaten the likes of Megan Fox and Britney Spears to the top spot.

FHM have said:

“The gorgeous Geordie has become Britain’s most wanted star. And it’s easy to see why. It’s like God himself decided her native Newcastle was looking a bit dowdy, and needed a beacon of angel-like beauty at its centre.”

Hm, think they are going a bit OTT there. If we all had thousands in the bank to spend on beauty products and treatments I’m sure we could brush up just as well.

It seems that Cheryl is looking to take over the world after talks of her furthering her solo career. Do you think she would leave the other members of Girls Aloud and if she did, do you think it would mean they couldn’t carry on?

Does Rihanna have a new boyfriend??

Has Rihanna finally shaken off Chris Brown?  I’m a bit lost with this whole relationship to be honest, first i hear that they are going to get married, next things are off, then they are reported to be spending nights together and now it seems Rihanna has got a new boyfriend, Andrew Bynum.

Andrew plays for the Lakers and has been spotted cosying up with the pop sensation in a resturant in Beverly Hills.

I have to admit, Andrew is slightly hotter than Chris Brown and certainly has that sexy athletic body. It must be nice having to pick over two sexy hunks. Hmm, should she go for the music mystro that beat her up or the hunky basketball player???

Susan Boyle takes over the world!!

You may have heard the name Susan Boyle on the TV, on the radio and in magazines. Susan has taken over the news and her audition on Britain’s Got Talent has seen 18.5 million hits, it may even become the most watched video on YouTube EVER!!!

Before auditioning for the show, 48 year old Susan was used to singing into her bathroom mirror with a hairbrush but has since become a global superstar. The never yet been kissed sensation has already been interviewed in America and Australia, it seems like the world are going mad for a bit of the Boyle!

I didn’t get to watch the show the night Susan performed so i added to the number of views on YouTube instead. Fair enough the lady has a good voice, but i didn’t fall off my chair in amazement. Are people obsessed with her because they of the way she looks and they were shocked that she could even hold a note? Or am i missing something and she does in fact have the voice of star?

Kim Kardashian shows us her white bits on Twitter!

Like most people, I am a complete Facebook geek. Logging on to see messages in my inbox or a new friend request can brighten up an evening after a gloomy days work! Although Facebook is extremely popular, Twitter seems to be the new craze with Celebrities such as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher but i just don’t see what all the fuss is about.

From what i have heard it’s just like the Facebook status updates and that’s about it! I do enjoy reading people updates but it does become a bit boring with, “Adam is Bored” and “Natalie feels fat” etc.

The latest Celebrity to use Twitter is Kim Kardashian, she has recently posted a picture of herself on there showing the outcome of a sunbathing session that went wrong, very wrong!!

“PLEASE HELP ME! I am so sunburned! I fell asleep with huge glasses on yesterday! This tan line is not OK!!!”

Unlucky Kim! That looks sore! At least she has made a joke out of it and hasn’t waited for pictures of her dodging the paparazzi’s to be splashed over the front of the paper.

If i had a nose that red, I certainly wouldn’t make the picture public, would you?

Is Britney going back off the rails?

Everything seemed to be going well for Britney Spears, she got rid of all the skanky boyfriends that had been taking her a ride, she brought out a new album and is currently on tour.

Unfortunately, things seem to be going slightly downhill with her panic attacks returning. According to insiders close to Britney, they are claiming that her anti-psychosis medication isn’t working and she is feeling the mental pressure of touring.

Britney’s mental health team are working around the clock to try and balance out her medication in the hope that she doesn’t go completely off the rails.

An insider has said:

“Britney  has taken two steps forward and three steps back by going on tour – it could set her recovery back. Sometimes she seems in control, then she’ll turn into a childlike character who begs: “Daddy, I wanna go home and be on my own with my boys”.

Do you think that Britney has returned to work before she was well enough and is now going to suffer even more than the first time around?

I hope not, the come back of Britney Spears has been great!

Is Jack Tweed on suicide watch?

Since the death of Jade Goody, Jack Tweed has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for assaulting a taxi driver and is certainly not dealing with it well.

According to sources close to Jack he has apparently been locked in a special secure hospital wing so that he is well away from other prisoners. Apparently Jack is at high risk because of his celebrity status and is going to spending his time with other high risk prisoners.

“There are genuine concerns that he could be targeted, it’s the sort of things that tough guys would brag to their mates. All the furniture in Jack’s cell will be moulded to the floor or the walls so it can’t be thrown around or broken to make a makeshift weapon.”

When Jack was last in prison, cell mates tried to force him to smoke crack and now friends are worried about his fragile state of mind.

Would you like to be a Celebrity?

Wouldn’t you just love to be a celebrity? These days it isn’t that hard to get in the public eye, just go to a swanky club in London, pick up a footballer and you’ll be in the next issue of Heat Magazine. Either that or apply for a reality TV show, let’s face it anyone can be a Z list celeb these days.

For the A listers though it must be amazing. They get free clothes, get to dress up in fancy prom dresses to attend star studded awards, travel around by a chauffeur  and make millions of pounds.

I love celebrities, i love reading about their lives and finding out all the crazy things they do but in reality they are just like you and me, just mega loaded!

I was out at the weekend and saw Kerry Katona, she got dropped off at a bar by her husband Mark and made her way into the club. Everyone was staring at her whilst she was just trying to have a good time with her mates. She mustn’t have been able to relax as both males and females were trying to make conversation with her or take pictures without her knowing.

Although having all the money you could want is great, do you think they just want to be like us, another face in the crowd? They must get to a point where they just want to be left alone but is this the price of fame?
