Wayne Rooney cautioned!

Footballer Wayne Rooney was cautioned yesterday after allegedly spitting at photographer Lee Simmons.

When Rooney arrived at Holborn Police Station in London he apparently handed in a letter of apology. Aw bless him, I’m surprised he would be able to string a sentence together, never mind write a letter!!

Rooney originally told the police that he spat on the floor but after doing a DNA test on the saliva on Lee Simmons’ clothes it did match Rooney’s!

Tut, tut, tut! What gives him the right to spit at someone? Fair enough, i can imagine that the paps do piss you off but it comes with the job!

The incident happened when Rooney was leaving a restaurant with his wife Coleen in the summer. He was questioned about it in July but was never arrested.

The problems continue for Brand!

Just a little bit of an update on the biggest celebrity news that has hit our screens for a while..

After all the problems with ‘that’ answer phone message to Andrew Sachs, Russell Brand has decided to resign from Radio 2 before the problems get any worse. The duo were suspended from the show but Russell decided that he should give it a day. Jonathan Ross decided that he should apologise with this formal statement:

“I am deeply sorry and greatly regret the upset and distress that my juvenile and thoughtless remarks on the Russell Brand Show have caused. I have not issued a statement previously because it was my intention and desire to offer an apology to all those offended on my Friday night programme. However, it was a stupid error of judgment on my part, and I offer a full apology.”

After hearing about all this, Noel Gallagher decided to have his say on the matter as he and Russell have been friends for a while:

“I spoke to Russell, he told me he was going to fall on his sword. Personally, I’m outraged that, yet again, the joyless fuckers who write the columns in the Daily Mail, The Telegraph or The Observer have dictated the tone and are telling people how to behave. I’ve seen the Daily Mail, they said that Russell should be arrested and charged. Arrested for what? For taking the piss?”

“It’s so typical of the English in general, 10,000 people get outraged, but only days after it has happened. At worst it was a juvenile prank that wasn’t unfunny but it’s hardly offensive. I feel bad for Russ, ’cause he really loved doing the show. I loved being on it as well.”

Russ and Ross in trouble!

You may have heard about Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand being in trouble for leaving obscene messages on the actor, Andrew Sachs’ phone. But it appears that what they thought was just a prank could leave them in a LOT of trouble!

The calls were broadcast on Radio 2 and since then there have been over 10,000 complaints. To make matters worse the PM is now involved! Gordon Brown even took a minute away from his discussions on international affairs to say:

“This is clearly inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour.”

I was quite shocked to read that the show was recorded two days before it even got broadcast, how the hell did it even get through the editing process?!!!

Breaking Christmas News!!

I have just found out that one of my Christmas Day rituals has had to come to an end. Yes people, the Top Of The Pops Christmas special has been axed!

Since i can remember i have always loved watching the show whilst eating my dinner and I’m extremely gutted to find out that it has been axed. They may as well just cancel Christmas!

In the past TOTP has been jam packed with celebs from the Kaiser Cheifs to The Proclaimers.

It isn’t only me that is unhappy about this, the celebs are also having their say on the matter.

Francis Rossi from Status Quo has said:

“We can’t believe Christmas Top Of The Pops is not happening this year – it’s a festive fixture. It took us 40 years to write a Christmas song then the moment we do the programme gets axed.”

And Mark from Westlife had his say too:

“Christmas Top Of The Pops has been a highlight of the festive schedule for music fans. If it goes it will be a massive shame.”

Tragic plane crash injures stars

You may have heard about this on the news over the weekend but a plane crash in California has taken the life of four people.

Travis Barker who is Blink 182’s drummer and celebrity DJ, Adam Goldstein (Nicole Richie’s ex) were critically injured in the crash. Both men are being treated for serious burns but are expected to make full recoveries.

Unfortunately 4 lives were taken, this being Pilot and co pilot Sarah Lemmon and James Bland, and Travis’ security guard and personal assistant, Charles Still and Chris Baker.

Dr Fred Mullins has said:

“Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn’t suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected.”

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have both left messages on their blogs -

Lindsay – “Please send your prayers out to Adam Goldstein and Travis Barker – along with the others lost in the plane crash … it’s so scary to think that life can end so fast … we must all treasure each and every moment – and be thankful for what we have.”

Samantha – “My good friend Adam was in a plane crash last night, he was lucky to survive but is still in the hospital being treated for burns (so I read). I don’t really know what to say, it’s such horrifying news, but I was hoping you guys would please send him your best wishes/prayers because I don’t really know what else to do.”

Official reports are saying the crash was due to a problem with the tyres with one tyre suffering a blow out.

Tina and her partner Ryan Thomas are said to be delighted on the birth of their baby daughter. Scarlett Jacqueline Thomas was born at 8.28am yesterday and weighed just 7lb 1oz.

A source close to the couple told the Sun newspaper:

‘Tina’s due date was last Monday and she was getting a bit anxious, She was desperate to hold her little girl and tried out all the tips to induce birth. They are so pleased and relieved. Both mum and baby are doing very well.’

Terrible news for Jennifer Hudson!

Singer/Actress Jennifer Hudson has received some shocking and saddening news over the weekend, her mother and brother have been killed and her nephew is missing!!

The bodies of her mother Darnell and brother Jason were found by Jennifer’s sister’s Julia when she arrived home from work.

John Mirabelli, the Chicago police spokesman has said:

‘We are handling a double-homicide, those victims sustained fatal gunshot wounds.’

A 27 year old man has been taken into custody and is now been questioned by authorities.

Jennifer’s nephew, Julian King is missing and a £65,000 reward has been offered for his safe return. The FBI are now trying to locate the little boy.

This is such terrible news!! Jennifer has urged people to get in touch with the authorities if they know anything about Julian on her MySpace page.

Fergie & Josh to wed in 2009!

If your thinking about getting married then you are no doubt worrying about how your going to afford everything. The dress, the rings, the church and the party afterwards are all extremely expensive and it means saving years in advance, which kinda puts a downer on the whole thing.

Well, for celebrities, worrying about what colour the sugared almonds are going to be in the balloon weights is the last thing on their minds. Instead they are thinking about which designer they are going to ask to create their amazing wedding dress for their perfect day.

The black eyes peas star Fergie is due to marry her partner of 4 years, Josh Duhamel (shwing!!) in 2009 and is already arranging how she wants her dress to look with Karl Lagerfield, yes, you heard right, Karl Lagerfield, the guy who designs for Chanel. JEALOUS!!!!!

‘Fergie has just started interviewing wedding planners. She’s also working with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on getting her fantasy gown. They are taking their time to get everything right. They only plan on getting married once.’

It is so not fair!

The gorgeous couple have their sights set on a date in June 2009 and want it to be a lavish do!!

Anne Hathaway’s ex gets 4 and a half years in prison!!

The ex love of Anne Hathaway has been sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison.

The couple dated for 4 years and only days after them splitting, Raffaello Follieri was arrested and pleaded guilty to money laundering, conspiracy and 14 charges of wire fraud.

Apparently, according to the US Attorney’s office, Follieri missapropriated hundreds of dollars in investor money to live the luxurious lifestyle he was living.

The judge at court said:

It is plain that the defendant engaged in a substantial fraud involving a significant amount of money over a significant period of time, the defendant used the proceeds on lavish personal expenditures.

Raffaello’s response to this was:

I didn’t start off with the intention of deceiving anyone, I started off with good intentions to run an honorable business and make everyone proud of me. I have dishonored my family name and the church I love. I will never be able to wash away that stain and I will have to live with it for the rest of my life.

tut, tut, tut. Apparently Anne had nothing to do with the scam and knew nothing about it, hmmm, seems a bit funny to me that it was only days after they split that he got arrested.

I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am. Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage.

Apparently Beyonce Sasha has created this stage name to help her promote her new album.
