R Kelly on trial

I’ve been watching closely the developments in the R Kelly trial, which has been all over the news in recent weeks. The R&B star, famous for his bad boy antics and warblings about flying is on trial for 14 counts of making and posessing child pornography, in particular claims that he has made a video of himself having sex with an underage girl. If he’s convicted he faces up to 15 years in Jail.

R Kelly’s lawyers have based their defence around the fact that the quality of the tape is very poor, however the latest update is that an expert in video forensics has examined the tape and says that it has not been tampered with to make it look like the singer is in the film. The tape has been duplicated several times however, which has led to the poor quality.

So it’s not looking good for the R Kelly, however the jury have to be convinced beyond all reasonable doubt that it is the singer in the video, so we’ll have to just wait and see.

Here we go again!

It’s scary how time flies. I’m only just recovering from the madness and mayhem of last year’s big brother, and OMG, here it is again! BB9’s opening night will be next Thursday, June 5th. I’m really really torn in my feelings for BB nowadays, half of me thinks it’s had it’s day, it should have finished on a high and quit while it was ahead. The other half’s secretly excited about evenings filled with unadulterated people watching, days filled with BB debate with mates and loads more wannabe celebs to bitch and moan about for a few months. Oh who am I kidding, I can’t wait!

Anyway just to whet our appetites, i’ve been considering what I think have been the best moments in BB history. There’s too many to count, but here’s 10 of my favourites:

1) Helen’s utter blonde-ness in BB2. “I like blinking I do…”

2) BB3 – the best series ever in my opinion. Kate falling over drunk when trying to put her jeans on.

3) Alex in BB3 dancing behind the door to that 70’s disco tune (can’t remmeber what it was…)

4) Tim in BB3 secretly shaving his ginger chest hairs under the bed covers. Did he not realise there were cameras everywhere?!?

5) Anthony and Makosi shagging in the pool in BB6 – they DEFINITELY did it I reckon!

6) Makosi announcing she might be pregnant after aforementioned incident in pool. Priceless!

7) Nikki being really annoyed at Grace in BB7. “Who IS she?” (strange hand gestures)

8 ) From celeb BB – George Galloway playing “the cat” – Uuuurrrggghh! Major cringe but completely unforgettable.

9) The twins from last year – I love it!

10) Charley getting evicted last year. The whole nation rejoiced!

Lets hope this year gives us the treat we’re all waiting for, and none of the dodgy race rows that have plagued the last few series’, it spoils all the fun and I just wanna see people making complete fools of themselves!

Kylie at 40!

Happy birthday to Kylie Minogue, who today unbelievably celebrates her 40th birthday!!! The pop icon started her birthday celebrations last week with an all night party in Greece, but today will have a more low key celebration with her family in Germany.

I can’t believe Kylie’s 40, it’s quite scary when you can remember tearfully watching Scott & Charlene’s wedding on neighbours, and dancing round your bedroom with a hairbrush to I should be so lucky. To have had such a successful carrer over three decades, appealing to different generations of fans is a huge achievement. Add to that a battle with breast cancer followed by a return to the world stage on top form, and you’ve got a true legend.

I went to see Kylie in the Fever tour a few yars back, and it was amazing. I love the ultimate pop princess, and wish her a very happy 40th birthday!

Nicola splits from lover!

Being gorgeous (kind-of) and having all the money in the world doesn’t neccesarliy mean that your going to be lucky in love.

Girls Aloud certainly haven’t had much luck when it comes to their men. First it was Nadine and Jessie Metcalfe, then it was Cheryl and Ashley and now its Nicola and Carl Davies.

After months of arguments, Nicola and Carl decided to call it a day!

I’m sure it wont be long before she bags herself a new guy though, probably a footballer or actor or something….lucky cow!

Sienna goes brunette

Gone are the days of Sienna’s trademark golden locks and in comes the vampy brunette!

Don’t go running down to Superdrug to buy your dark hair dye just yet though, Sienna has only dyed her hair for her big role in GI Joe.

Sienna is playing the part of The Baroness and is having to beef up at the gym so her body fits the part.

I quite like Sienna with dark hair, what do you think??

1 non-fat Latte please!

Is it possible to be any skinnier than a size 0? If it is then I’m guessing the Olsen twins are probably heading that way!

Mary-Kate and Ashley are known for their skinny figures but it still doesn’t stop them from visiting Starbucks nearly everyday.

If i was a regular at Starbucks and ordered a hot chocolate with squirty cream, marshmallows and a flake everyday there is no chance i would be a size 10, let alone a size 0! But, unlike myself, the girls opt for the healthier items on the menu and always order non-fat lattes. (maybe that’s where I’m going wrong!)

But, wait until you hear what the naughty person who makes their coffee’s does….

Apparently, they too think that the twins could do with fattening up and have been replacing the non-fat milk with full fat!! Naughty, naughty, naughty!!!

Still, doesn’t look like it has done much good, look at them on the red carpet in Cannes recently, DAMN!!!

Take That – Back for good?

It has been revealed that Take That will be back in December, wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

At the Ivor Novello awards on Thursday, Gary Barlow spilt the beans:

We will be back by Christmas. We couldn’t stay away. I haven’t written the songs yet, but we are going to be back. There should be a tour as well.”

Guess who Antony Costa took home?!

Antony Costa, OK, so he may be the ugly one from Blue, but you would think that he would still be able to bag a half decent woman!!

Since splitting with Adele Silva it looks like Antony’s standards have dropped quite significantly!

Anthony was spotted getting into a taxi with no other than………….Claire King!!!!!

Claire, famous for being in programmes such as Emmerdale and Bad Girls is certainly not the kind of girl you would take home to meet your mother- as she is probably old enough to in fact, be your mother!!

Apparently Claire looked abit embarrassed to be leaving with such a youngen, well I’m not surprised.

Its only OK for Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher!!!!!!!!!!!

Katie is now looking to compete in the Olympics for horse riding and this has been a massive interest of hers since she was young.

Her husband Peter Andre is apparently buying Katie a ‘Top Quality’ horse for her birthday in the hope that she will fulfill her dream to become a top dressage star.

Lets just hope that she purchases an extra supportive sports bra with them bad boys bouncing around!!!

Jessica Alba ties the knot!

Unfortuantly for all you men out there, another celebrity hotty has gone and got married!

Gorgeous Jessica Alba had a secret wedding ceremony yesterday and is now officially Mrs Cash Warren.

Not a fan of weddings, Jessica opted for a quite ceremony with just her close family and friends.

Apparently all her family “hate” weddings:

“I am probably going to get my certificate at the city council, throw a big party for the family and that’s about it. Everyone I know hates weddings.”

Jessica is expecting her baby in the summer and still looks as fantastic as ever!
