Look like a celebrity!

Are you like me? Do you sit at home reading the latest celebrity magazine wishing that one day, you too could look like one of the celeb’s that faces take over the pages? Blemish free faces and the most up to date fashion is what many of us long for and getting this look isn’t that hard!

The majority of clothes that the celebrities are wearing can be found on high street rails soon after they hit the catwalks and are normally at a bargain price.

From copying Victoria Beckham in her tight tailored dresses to copying Cameron Diaz in her more relaxed beach look is easy. Rip a page out of a magazine and take it along to the shops with you. If you like Cameron’s cool surfer shorts, then check out places that stock Quicksilver Clothing. If you want to look more like Victoria, then head to shops such as Zara or Reiss.

Looking like your fave celeb is easier than it ever has been and with the sales on at the moment, what a better time to buy! Once you have your new outfit it wont be long before you will be dodging the paparazzi after being mistaken for the real thing!

I want that Celebrity look!

I’ve always wondered how Celebrities skin looks pristine even when they have been up at the crack of dawn and had their makeup re-applied about 3 times during the day?!

Take Katie Price for example, her skin is always pretty much flawless. She falls through the door at 4 in the morning after a drunken night out, and wakes up only a couple of hours later looking fabulous for a photo shoot! It’s just not fair! I’m guessing the amount of work and botox she has had gives her a slight advantage to us ‘normal’ girls though!

Sarah Harding is another celebrity who always looks stunning despite being a bit of a party girl. I know that they have make-up artists on hand to get rid of any unsightly blemishes and spots and no doubt have every photo airbrushed, but even when they get photographed in the streets they still look great. They could be pictured in a black bin bag and their skin would still look amazing.

I have tried using a number of creams but nothing seems to give me that ‘celebrity glow’. Friends of mine and a number of celebrities all swear by Jan Marini products. Jan Marini offers products such as eye creams, cleansing gel and hair shampoo and conditioner. I think I may need to invest in some so that I too can look like I’ve just stepped out of a salon.

Kate Vs Kelly in the Fashion Battle

So, Kelly Osbourne has spoken out recently about her friendship with fellow celebrity Kate Moss. What an unlikely pairing! Apparently, Kelly doesn’t get any fashion advice off her pal – I think she should!!

‘I don’t ask her for fashion tips or anything. When we’re together we’re just friends.’

Kate Moss’s range at Top Shop is superb. I can’t resist a new purchase every time I’m in town and it’s such amazing value for money. In my opinion, Kelly could do a lot worse than get advice off one of the biggest fashion icons of our time.

Weird Victoria Beckham advert

I absolutely love Victoria Beckham and it seems that she is wanting to be taking seriously in the fashion world by releasing this rather arty video to promote her new range of dresses.

I couldn’t help but laugh at some parts of it, especially when one woman tries to hide as an elephant by putting a pair of tights over her head. You don’t get to see Victoria much in the advert, but you do get the odd glimpse as she plays a hide and seek type game with the other women.

Her dresses launch today but i’m guessing that they will be well out of my price range. I’ll just have to dribble over pictures of them instead!

Is Cheryl too thin to be an icon?

It seems that everybody loves Cheryl Cole. She has made it big on the X Factor and has married a Premiership football player, her life seems pretty damn dandy if you ask me.

One person who isn’t as obsessed as the rest of the population is feminist academic, Germaine Greer.

“There’s not enough of her, she’s too thin. A healthy girl is a fat-bottomed creature.”

During Gordon Ramsey’s cook Along Live, Germaine spoke out that she doesn’t think that Cheryl is the right size to be a feminist icon, she is far too skinny.

Cheryl isn’t the only person who Germaine has had an opinion on, she has also spoken her mind about Jordan.

“I think the girl’s a genius, except that I also think she’s destroying herself, and that’s not a pretty picture.”

Mischa slags off Victoria!

Mischa Barton has reportedly slagged off Victoria Beckham saying she isn’t actually all that stylish!

Erm, excuse me, wasn’t it only the other day that Mischa appeared on the “what not to wear” pages of magazine for this horrific ensemble..

Anyway, Mischa has said:

“Posh doesn’t strike me as particularly stylish, I don’t think she’s a good example of British style at all. I don’t dress for anybody else, and I think the reason people like my style is that I do my own thing.”

BITCH FIGHT! I certainly think that Mischa needs to have another long, hard look at her wardrobe before she starts slagging off style queen Posh!

Mark Ronson must be gutted!

We all know that Daisy Lowe and Mark Ronson have split and pictures are already out and about of Mark and his new lover Tennessee Thomas. Hm this must be a bit of a rebound thing because she certainly ain’t has hot as Daisy, check out the specs, Deirdre Barlow should of put a copy write on her image!!!!!

Well, when you split up with someone, the worst thing that can happen is you see them prancing around with another guy looking absolutely stunning. Minus the guy and add sexy lingerie and this is Mark’s ex..

OUCH! you would be gutted wouldn’t you. Daisy looks amazing whilst she is modelling for lingerie line Agent Provocateur.

Celebs with specs appeal!

I decided it was about time to go for an eye test as my last one dates back to about 5 years ago. Luckily the optician told me that i didn’t need to wear glasses and i was OK for another 2 years.

I don’t know why but wearing glasses is something i dread, partly because it means my eyes are slowly deteriorating and I’m getting older and secondly they just don’t suit me. However many pairs i try on, i look awful.

There aren’t many celebs that wear glasses on a permanent basis, you do see some in a pair when they are nipping to their local grocery shop but the majority are banished when it comes to the red carpet. Is this down to contact lenses, laser eye treatment or maybe the fact it’s too uncool.

Like face lifts and boob jobs, laser eye treatment is just another way to make our celebs looks beautiful and although its something i wouldnt personally have done, it apparently works wonders.

Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt and Richard Branson are among some of the celebs that have decided to ditch the specs and get corrective eye treatment.

Big Brother 9, it’s all over, but what next?

Big Brother has closed its doors for another year crowning Rachel as the winner.

Rachel received the £100,000 cheque on Friday night and won by the skin of her teeth with Mikey coming a close second.

Alex and Dennis didn’t make an appearance at the final due to their bad behaviour, but everyone else was there, dressed up and ready for the after party.

Unfortunately, this now means that we are going to be joined by 21 fame hungry celebs battling their way to magazine deals and trying their hardest to stay in the public eye for more than 5 minutes.

One person that has already secured a job is muscle man Stuart. apparently he has signed a deal to promote men make up, what a surprise. This isn’t any old make up through, Stuart has managed to bag no other than Yves Saint Laurent’s “Touche Eclat”.

“It hides the dark circles under my eyes, especially before I go to my nan’s for lunch to avoid interrogation on the antics of the night before”.

Lily goes back to black!

Lily Allen has finally decided to sack off that pink barnet and opt for something more sensible, brunette!

Lily sported the pink do for quite a while and it definitely made her stand out from the crowd (so did that shocking outfit!!)

The new brunette Lily emerged this week and reports have said she decided to change her hair colour after the death of her Nana.

Whilst at Glastonbury this year, Lily found out that her Nana had passed away and decided that she wouldn’t be happy if she attended her funeral with pink hair.

In my opinion, Lily looks so much  better as a brunette and should maybe leave the wild pink colour to someone else.
