David Beckham will NOT be playing in the World Cup!

Well, what is actually the point in watching the World Cup now? The only reason I was going to watch it anyway was to swoon over David Beckham and now he has his injury and is ruled out, there is no point!

Beckham looked absolutely heart broken when he had to get stretchered off the pitch due to rupturing his Achilles tendon, and is now going to have to fly to Finland to undergo surgery.

Beckham pulled up with the injury in a match against Chiveo and it doesn’t look like he will be able to even go back to training for 3 months.

Don’t worry though Becks, I’ll kiss it better for you!!!!

Don’t you just love the JLS boys?! In fact, I would go as far as to say I would marry Marvin tomorrow if he asked, shawing! Not only have the boy’s done fantastically well with their music, they are now breaking into the world of…condoms! Mutya Vs Sugababes

There has always been a bit of tension between the Sugababes girls and with the original line up no longer, friction has started to build between current and ex members of the band.

Mutya Buena has really stirred things up though by starting a legal battle to try and claim the “Sugababes” name, which could mean that the band would have to think up something new and Mutya would have full control over how the name was used. I can’t imagine she would want the current line up using it though, can you?

However, the girls don’t seem too phased:

“We know what’s going on but it hasn’t affected us at all. I don’t really understand any of it. We’ve got the right to use the name. We’ve got lawyers who are dealing with that and we’re just getting on with performing and having a good time.”

Mutya has decided to put a spanner in the works by starting all of this just before the girl’s album, Sweet 7, is released on March 15th.

Danielle Lloyd – Pregnant!

2010 is going to give us many pregnancies, surprise engagements, weddings and funerals I’m sure, but the first person of the year to celebrate is Danielle Lloyd. The 26 year old WAG is expecting her first child with fiance Jamie O’Hara. (He plays football for Portsmouth if you didn’t already know).

The couple have only been dating since April last year and are looking to get married next year. To be honest, I’m quite happy for Danielle, she has had a rough few years and has been dating some complete wasters. She has even had to undergo plastic surgery on her leg after she got attacked on a night out in London. Poor girl!

Hope the pregnancy goes well Danielle, good luck my girl!

The Ashley and Cheryl story continues..

Arguably one of the most beautiful ladies in the UK is back on the market, due to her scum bag of a boyfriend cheating on her with numerous (might I add, minging) ladies!! Ashley Cole has to be the dumbest man in the world for letting Cheryl slip from his fingertips, especially when you look at some of the tramps he has been exchanging “saucy photos” with! What was he thinking?!

So, whilst Ashley is in rehab, recovering from his ankle injury, Chezza has been on a number of ‘dates’ with one of her dancers and has also been in talks about moving to LA. Cheryl has been taking advice from her friend Brian Friedman, who has reassured her that she will be loved just as much in America as in the UK.

Vernon Kay and his FIVE other ladies!

The clean cut, happy go lucky, Bolton guy, Vernon Kay has admitted to sending naughty texts to at least 5 other women! Vernon, who we all thought was happily married to Tess Daly admitted to sending the texts but has informed us that it was simply for the banter and it went no further. One of the women in question is page 3 model, Rhian Sugden.

Vernon admits to have been stupid and has said that he will do anything it takes to make it up to his family.

“I’m so sorry. I’ve been an idiot and I’ve let my family down. I thought it was harmless banter and just larking around. I’ve been stupid and daft, but I’m not a sex pest. I’ll do whatever it takes to resolve the situation, I’m so sorry!”

Men!!! Well that is his squeaky clean image and reputation out the window!

Simon Cowell pulls a sickie!

Pulling a sickie in an office environment seems pretty standard, but what about if you are a celebrity with a full schedule for the day? Well, music mogul Simon Cowell had his first ever day off down to flu. Simon was meant to be at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Birmingham, but instead had to get his old mate Louis Walsh to step in for him. Fellow judge Amanda Holden admitted that she was glad Simon wasn’t in so she could mess around like a naughty school girl.

Wonder if he will spend the day sat on the sofa, watching Jeremy Kyle with a Lemsip like the rest of us?

Katie Price and Alex Reid – Married!

There has been rumors flying around for a couple of weeks now that whilst in Vegas, Katie Price and Alex Reid were to wed….and it seems they are true! Yes, the celebrity couple have tied the knot!

I’m not being funny, but what the hell are they doing? It wasn’t long ago that Katie dumped Alex live on TV, now they are getting married?! According to a statement made by Katie’s agent, none of this was done for any kind of media deal…hmmm, YEH RIGHT!!

“Katie and Alex are delighted to announce they got married in a private, simple ceremony. Their decision to marry has not been made with any media deal in place. It is purely down to their love for each other”

The trashy wedding, which lasted a total of 22 minutes, took place at the Chapel of Wynn Hotel. Hope they didn’t turn up in the same dress, that would be embarrassing wouldn’t it!

The TV crew from Katie’s ITV show were in attendance, after all, she can’t do anything without the cameras in her face can she. Apparently £1million is what the couple have been offered for exclusive rights to the pictures…..but they aren’t doing it for the money are they….no, course not!

Celebrity Calendars

As 2010 is drawing closer, celebrity calendars are filling the shops with the Z Lister in question, eagerly awaiting to see if one actually sells. There is a strange variety of calendars out this year, you’ve got the normal Hollyoaks cast flaunting all they are worth, mixed in with Zac Efron and Eminem.

Doing a photo shoot for a calendar must be fun mustn’t it! Lazing around all day doing provocative poses for each month of the year. Anyone who is anyone has a calendar these days, I even saw one for Maria Sharapova, I mean, who would want that? No offense to the woman but you’d get a bit sick of seeing her doing a different serve pose each month wouldn’t you?

The normal footballers have theirs out this year for us to drool over. I have to admit, I wouldn’t mind waking up to Christiano Ronaldo’s body each morning.

Calendars always have proved to be a popular Christmas gift and are a great way for celebrities to make that extra bit of dosh when times are hard (Avril Lavigne). They are great for stocking fillers and don’t always cost too much either. The only problem you are left with, is who do you choose?

MTV Awards 2009

The MTV awards took place recently and A list celebrities were sat on the edges of their seats, hoping that it would be their name that got called out so they could parade up to the stage and accept their award.

As normal, the awards were a huge event with full to the brim goody bags, lots of bling and they even got someone to buy fireworks to really set the night off.

For one person in particular though, the night may not have gone as expected. Taylor Swift was one of many nominated for ‘Best Female Video’. To her surprise and obviously Kanye Wests’, she won! Taylor went up to receive the award and Kanye interrupted her speech with:

“Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

Wow, that’s certainly a bit of a knock down for poor Taylor!

Beyonce did manage to get her hands on an award though, for ‘Best Video of the year,’ for her great dance routine in Single Ladies! Beyonce, who was obviously a little bit embarrassed by the whole Kanye thing, spoke out to Taylor after her thank yous.

“I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
