Who has the hottest body in the world?

When you think of who has the hottest body in the world, the normal names spring to mind! Megan Fox, Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry….not Frankie Sandford!! For those of you who aren’t aware of who she is, she is a member of the girl band, The Saturdays, not very talented but likes to show off her “hot” body!

The poll took place by Zoo Magazine and Frankie came up top beating the regular winners to first place. Do you think Frankie has the best body out there? The fact she’s only 21 (ish) means that her body is at it’s peak, surely it’s going to look better than the older bunch!

Frankie was just as shocked to hear about the win as we were. She has said:

MTV Awards 2009

The MTV awards took place recently and A list celebrities were sat on the edges of their seats, hoping that it would be their name that got called out so they could parade up to the stage and accept their award.

As normal, the awards were a huge event with full to the brim goody bags, lots of bling and they even got someone to buy fireworks to really set the night off.

For one person in particular though, the night may not have gone as expected. Taylor Swift was one of many nominated for ‘Best Female Video’. To her surprise and obviously Kanye Wests’, she won! Taylor went up to receive the award and Kanye interrupted her speech with:

“Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

Wow, that’s certainly a bit of a knock down for poor Taylor!

Beyonce did manage to get her hands on an award though, for ‘Best Video of the year,’ for her great dance routine in Single Ladies! Beyonce, who was obviously a little bit embarrassed by the whole Kanye thing, spoke out to Taylor after her thank yous.

“I remember being 17 years old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”

Eurovision Song Contest 2009

Did you stay in on Saturday night to watch the Eurovision? I did, I also demolished a huge bag of Doritos, a share size Dairy Milk and a bag of soft licorice. Put it this way, I couldn’t move off the sofa for the rest of the night.

So, what did you think of Jade?! I thought she did a fantastic job, even after she got fit in the face by someone on the violin! Coming 5th is a great achievement, especially after getting nil points last time. Do you think Andrew Lloyd Webber helped us gain more points, seen as though he is known all over Europe?

The winners were Norway, I hope that they had fire sprinkler systems in place as they were on fire, getting a record breaking score of 387. Coming in second was Iceland with 218 points and Azerbaijan took third place with 207 points.

In my opinion, I didn’t think Norway had a very good song and I don’t know how anyone can call that guy cute, he had the biggest nostrils going and caterpillars for eyebrows. I was also amazed that Azerbaijan made it to third place, the waiter lookalike and his slaggy, oddly dressed bit on the side really didn’t do anything for me!

Who is the worlds sexiest woman?

According to a poll in men’s magazine FHM, the Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has come up top and taken the crown as the worlds sexiest woman.

Cheryl has beaten the likes of Megan Fox and Britney Spears to the top spot.

FHM have said:

“The gorgeous Geordie has become Britain’s most wanted star. And it’s easy to see why. It’s like God himself decided her native Newcastle was looking a bit dowdy, and needed a beacon of angel-like beauty at its centre.”

Hm, think they are going a bit OTT there. If we all had thousands in the bank to spend on beauty products and treatments I’m sure we could brush up just as well.

It seems that Cheryl is looking to take over the world after talks of her furthering her solo career. Do you think she would leave the other members of Girls Aloud and if she did, do you think it would mean they couldn’t carry on?

Lewis Hamilton awarded MBE

It’s not every day that a 24 year old meets Queeny and gets awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) is it. Well, Lewis Hamilton was lucky enough to take a trip to Buckingham Palace yesterday, where he was honoured for becoming the youngest formula 1 champion, EVER!

Lewis isnt the only sportsman to collect an MBE from the Queen, the likes of Joe Calzaghe and Andrew Flintoff have also recieved the award.

Meeting the Queen must be a very strange experience and it seems that it was quite an ordeal for Lewis too:

‘It was one of the most overwhelming experiences I’ve ever had. I’m kind of lost for words. I was so nervous to meet her. I don’t think you realise until you stand in front of her how special it is.’

All the Hamiltons were there to see Lewis collect the award, but girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger was busy touring with the Pussycat Dolls so was unable to attend the event.

Oscars 2009

The biggest awards ceremony in the world took place last night and our homegrown talent did us proud!! Slumdog Millionaire bagged a massive 8 statues and Kate Winslet won Best Actress in the Reader. Luckily, there were no tears from Kate, instead she reminisced about being 8 years old and accepting her bottle of shampoo in the bathroom mirror!

As you can see, Slumdog Millionaire did brilliant!! When Danny Boyle won an award for Best Director he bounced up and down with joy, in his acceptance speech it all became clear why. Apparently, he had promised his daughters that if he ever won an Oscar, he would bounce up and down like Tigger from Winnie The Pooh? Crazy hey!

Are you looking forward to the Oscars?

Celebrities have had an extremely busy calendar over the past few months with lots and lots of awards show and events taking place. I’m guessing carpet cleaning in London will be on the up with all the rep carpet events, imagine how mucky it must get by the end of the night, especially with this British weather.

The next huge event to take place is the Oscars and i certainly wouldnt like to be the one to clean that one! On February 22nd, Celebrities from everywhere will be coming out from underneath their stones and  walking the red carpet in Hollywood, dressed in their best designers frocks and dripping in diamonds.

Imagine being able to walk down that red carpet, brushing shoulders with the stars, it would be amazing! Shame that it’s never going to happen though hey, we can all dream though can’t we!

There has already been talk of which film is going to be favourite, that being Slumdog Millionaire. The film has scooped a massive 10 Oscar nominations and looks favourite to be a winner on the night.

So, it looks like us Brits could be in with a shout of glory this time around with Slumdog Millionaire and with Kate Winslet also being nominated for best actress in the film The Reader.

THAT acceptance speech!

One of the biggest awards ceremonies took place recently, the Golden Globes. This event is a major diary date for most celebrities and obviously looking great on that red carpet is very important. The carpet was swarming with diamonds, ladies in their favourite party dresses and the men in their best suits. But for once, it wasn’t who wore the best outfit that has had people talking, the focus has been on one actress in particular, this being Kate Winslet.

Kate, who was overcome with emotion, got awarded a golden globe for best actresses in the film Revolutionary Road and her acceptance speech was rather cringe worthy to say the least! Of course, receiving an award for best actress would be amazing, but there was no need for her to react the way she did, breaking down into tears!

When giving her speech, Kate was so in shock that she couldn’t even remember Angelina Jolie’s name, i cant imagine that went down too well.

Celebrity Goody Bags

Wouldn’t you just love to attend an awards ceremony, jam packed full with A-list celebs? Brushing shoulders with Oscar winning actors and actresses and clinking champagne glasses with chart topping pop stars? I know i would! I once spotted David and Victoria Beckham in my local Tesco’s and could barely control myself with excitement!

Celebrities are pretty lucky really, not only do they get to dress up all fancy and dripping with diamonds to attend the ceremonies, they also get filled party bags with the latest accessories and technology.

This years MTV goody bag was said to contain:

• Watches
• Laptops
• Mobile Phones
• Lipsy Dresses

Along with a load of other stuff! Wowza! Even if i couldn’t attend the awards, i would love to sneak in and just grab a goody bag!

Its a bit different to the party bags Ive been used to, a grotty piece of cake and a plastic toy figure, maybe a yo-yo if i was good!

Celebrities get all the luck don’t they. With the millions of pounds they have in the bank they probably haven’t had to spend any of clothes or TVs, they get it all given to them.

One day, ONE DAY i will be like them! yeah….right!

Britney pulls out of her surprise MTV appearance

I was extremely excited to hear that the legend Miss Britney Spears was due to be doing a surprise appearance at the MTV European Music Awards in Liverpool this week. Unfortunately this is now no longer the case!

Yes, you heard me right, Britney has pulled out of her surprise appearance due to family commitments.

‘Britney is gutted but she has family commitments. Due to the ongoing court case involving her sons, Britney has to remain in the US to show she’s available for her kids as often as possible, and she has to be around this week!’

Booooo, i wanna see Britney performing!!!

Although we wont see her this time around there are rumours that she is going to be performing on the X Factor at the end of November, hurrah!!

Britney has a new single out on Monday but there could be a race to number one as other divas such as Beyonce, Leona and Christina are all releasing one on the same day!
